We start early to tackle the wild Gramvousa Peninsula. After a scenic (and bumpy) drive in our premium vehicle, we reach the trail to Balos. A 5-minute hike rewards you with the world-famous turquoise panorama. You'll have time to descend further to the lagoon for a swim before the large ferry boats arrive and the heat intensifies.

The Hike: After the off-road drive, there is a downhill walk to the beach. Remember, you will need to hike back up at the end. It is scenic but requires basic fitness. Stroller Policy: Not stroller accessible. We recommend a baby carrier/backpack if you are traveling with toddlers. Regional Pickups: Complimentary pickup is included for the Chania region. For Rethymno and Heraklion, a surcharge applies. Footwear Alert: Flip-flops are fine for the beach, but closed-toe shoes or sneakers are recommended for the trail to Balos.
